"A resident of Leyton for 60 years, Mrs Margaret Jane Hinchliffe (Nee Wells) died at Langthorpe Hospital on Monday at the age of 82. A former member of St Paul's Church, Leyton, Mrs Hinchliffe also lived at Chesterfield Road and Matlock Road, Leyton after coming from her native Durham. She leaves five children and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband died in 1955 and she lived with her daughter Mrs Margaret Leate. | |
